Good Morning, Looking for a RA associates degree in Recreation that will accept maximum transfer. Thanks. Hille
http://www.prm.nau.edu/emphasis/recreation-online-degree.htm This is a BS degree online. Alternatly take a TESC AA degree and use the 18 elective units for recreation courses (perhaps from NAU). You may want to expand on what your defination of "recreation" is.
Recreation Hi, This would be games, outdoor activies ect. Although my daughter is a working teacher backtracking for an Associates in Recreation would give her a credential that she can use and in turn earn some additional money. Since she is undertaking some grad work shortly the level of work for the associates needs to be less rigorous then grad classes. She has a double BA from TESC so I am unsure an Associates from them is an option. PM me for a more detail explanation if you are interested. Many thanks for thoughts. Hille
You can find a list of recreation courses offered by California schools at this site http://www.cvc.edu/students/programs Under "browse by subject" select "Parks, recreation, leisure, and fitness studies" Click on "Browse" If you live in CA some of these courses are very low cost (around $20 per unit)..
I just ran accross this online Masters degree while searching for something else. I would anticipate that graduate level units would be more resume enhancing than would AA level courses. http://www.csueastbay.edu/ecat/current/g-rec.html Also this BS program http://www20.csueastbay.edu/online/degree-programs/bs-recreation.html
