Finished up my enrollment requirements and submitted my financial aid packet this past week to my local CC, Tulsa Community College. Starting class in the Spring '09 semester (Jan 12th). I have to take a 0-level algebra class, it's amazing what you forget in so little time, lol. Right now I'm enrolled in: Beginning & Intermediate Algebra (5 cr.) Jan 12th - May 8th American Federal Government (3 cr.) Jan 12th - Feb 6th Freshman Composition I (3 cr.) Mar 5th - May 1st I decided to try out a few different time formats to see which I like best, since the math class is a long one and I wanted to get it out the way first. So I have a 12-16 week math, 2-7 week political science and 8 week english. Then I can see which I'm most comfortable with. The American Federal Government is 4 weeks, so I think I'm going to have to cram-study a lot, lol. There's also a computer science course that's required in my core that's able to be taken in 3 days. I was really tempted to try that out but I'm not sure I'd have time for that and government AND math.... So I might try it out next semester! So far the only proctored test I have is Beginning & Intermediate Algebra in May, I'm trying to pick classes that aren't proctored since I don't know my way around Tulsa yet, the easiest campus to get to is like 25 miles straight down the highway, which takes a quarter tank of gas for a round-trip, lol. I'll keep you guys informed!
