    Does anyone know if the American Lit CLEP will count as the Survey of Lit requirement? English CLEP, maybe? Any idea where to take Nonwestern Lit as cheaply as possible?

    A. Required Courses 12
    * Survey of Literature I & II (6)
    * Analysis and Interpretation of Literature (3)
    * Nonwestern Literature (3)

    If anyone out there has completed this degree, would you tell me how you fulfilled the English specific requirements?

    What does the GRE in Lit count as?

    Thanks.

    TESC doesn't award credit for GRE exams, only Excelsior college does, but I can give you some good news. All of the requirements can be met with CLEP exams.*
    Survey of Lit I & II (American Literature CLEP for 6 credits- use idiot's guide)
    Analysis and Interp. Lit (A & L CLEP 6 credits, a 3 credit surplus)
    NonWestern Lit (Brit Lit CLEP 6 credits, a 3 credit surplus)
    The surplus credit can be used elsewhere including your major since all 18 of those hours come in at the 200 level.

    *always call or email your advisor before you start to study. He can "plan" the credits for CLEP exams into your degree program.
    All the best!

    Are you positive on this? "NonWestern Lit (Brit Lit CLEP 6 credits, a 3 credit surplus)"

    Britain is certainly part of the West.
