Ph.D. by publication (Civil Engineering)

Are you aware of any institution awarding a Ph.D. by publication in Civil Engineering?

There is a sticky thread at the top of this forum, that lists a number of U.K. institutions offering Ph.D. by publication. You'll have to check to see if any of the schools on the list offer this for Civil Engineering.

Most UK universities restrict Ph.D.by publication to their faculty.
But Middlesex U has a D.Prof. by public works:

I'm not sure if they now accept US candidates (they did not a few years ago when I enquired).

Yes, they do accept US candidates.
