    Hey guys,

I wanted to see if anyone has any experience or opinions regarding Charlotte Law School.

I live near Charlotte and I have always dreamed of law school. It appears that they have achieved provisional accreditation from the ABA as of July of this year.

The cost is outrageous and I am not sure if I would even qualify, but I figure that I may have a shot being that they are so new...

Any thoughts or opinions are appreciated.

You gotta like a school with Charlotte the Legal Beagle as its mascot.

ABA provisional approval works exactly like full approval: graduates can take the Bar exam anywhere. Provision approval is good for five years, I believe, which means that nearly all the initial enrollees would have earned the degree before a worst-case scenario (quite unlikely, I think) kicked in.

New law schools are a rare commodity. It would be nice to have ongoing reports on your progress (or lack of it, if you decide otherwise).
