Distance photography learning

    Hello my dear friends, I think this has not been asked before as the title suggests I am looking to get a recognized photography qualification with the help of a distant learning course. Presently am a freelance photographer and my work has been applauded by many. The reason which makes me take up distant learning course is because I am employed and cant leave the job for the sake of the course. If I can have the liberty to participate in distance learning courses then I can choose my time accordingly. Please suggest if there are any options.

    ..why not join your local photography club and get hints, tips, etc from your local pros?

    NYIP is popular with many photographers. The school is DETC accredited, however it does not award credit for the diploma's as I understand. A common complaint has been the dated nature of the material. However, they have recently started updating the lesson plans, at least in the Complete Course in Professional Photography.

    For an official college degree, take a look at TESC.

    Somewhere deep down in the internets the NYIP course is also available as a torrent :)
