Good Morning, Several years agon I purchased a listed of the above. I cannot locate it currently and am working with several high school seniors that could benefit. They want to attend college initially so a dl program is not the current request. Is there a link still available? Thanks. Hille
You might try http://www.workcolleges.org for a listing of colleges that offer co-ops and internships. College of the Ozarks and Berea College target low- to moderate-income students from the Ozarks and Appalachians, respectively, but have a few openings for students outside of the target area. They offer "free" tuition in exchange for students working on campus. http://www.cofo.edu for College of the Oazarks http://www.berea.edu for Berea College
>> I have 2 links saved, not sure if these are what you were thinking of. http://www.businessweek.com/investor/content/nov2007/pi20071113_819956.htm http://images.businessweek.com/ss/07/11/1114_tuitionfree/index_01.htm I don't recall if it's mentioned in the articles, but military academy is free too- granted it is selective.
You totally beat me to it. My father graduated from Berea College and my mother attended there as well. Those work-colleges are some of the best deals going.
probably not exactly what you wanted but I always found this school interesting. http://www.cooper.edu/ http://www.cooper.edu/administration/admissions/faqs.html#q15 15. How much does it really cost to attend The Cooper Union? Tuition is listed at $33,000 per year. Every student receives a full tuition scholarship and is not responsible for tuition-related costs. Cooper Union students are responsible for living and miscellaneous expenses. These include mandatory student fees (totaling $1,600 per year), room and board (about $14,000 per year), books and supplies (about $1,000-1,800 per year), and general living expenses (about $2,000-3,000 per year), totaling approximately $19,000 per year. In addition, international students are assessed a $1,750/year filing fee. All students must prove medical insurance coverage or participate in our medical insurance plan for a health services fee of $1,629/year. A more detailed budget is available by accessing the Office of Financial Aid Web site or by viewing the catalog.
