Here is something that some may find interesting -
UF & Stetson Announce New Pharmaceutical Business
    Online Part-Time Degree Programs

The University of Florida College of Pharmacy and Stetson University School of Business Administration are working together to create new opportunities for students interested in master’s options in pharmacy business. Under a new partnership between the schools, students can earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Stetson University and a Master of Science in Pharmacy (MSP) from the University of Florida with a concentration in pharmaceutical business.

All courses are taught online. Fall and Spring semester courses are 7 weeks in length. Summer courses are 6 weeks in length. There is no thesis required for these master’s degrees. There is a mandatory comprehensive final exam that must be taken in residence before the degrees can be awarded. Students may complete the program in the standard 3 year period, or they may take up to 7 years to complete the program.

When this program was being planned, I found it odd that they were considering a dual degree with Stetson when UF has an online MBA program. I guess there were some kinks that they didn't work out.

Stetson (Deland) is a highly respected brand name where I formerly lived (Orlando). Rollins College (Winter Park) and the Stetson Hatters had a pretty good basketball rivalry back years ago. Before Florida Technological University became UCF, both Stetson and Rollins were viewed as the backyard college brands.

One of my co-workers holds a BBA in Marketing from Stetson. She attended Seminole CC for two years and then went on to Deland. It's a great school.

This looks like a unique program.

Their law school is in the St Pete area. When I live in North Florida, Stetson was talked about a lot and well respected.
