    All,

I've completed the final assignment for my MBA from Ashford University and just submitted it tonight. I'm finally through with a journey that started 2 years ago at St. Joseph's College of Maine and ended at Ashford University. Yee-Haw!!!

Congratulations on completion of the MBA and on surviving Hurricane Ike. I remember when you were still at the earning an undergraduate stage and starting to ponder which graduate school at attend.

Obligatory: What is the next step for you?

One question: If your wife will let you hang this one on the wall or is going to a box? You can still do a laser engraving of your diploma as suggested before, so it can go with your wife decor :D

    And Welcome to the club!!!!

WOW! Congratulations! What an accomplishment. That is seriously very awesome. I took a few undergrad psych courses at Ashford U online, and I know it is a rigorous program with a LOT of writing. Again, congrats!

    Thanks all...

Terry I'm a fan of yours too so the feeling is mutual.

For now I'm going to wrap up that certificate in accounting from LSU. That should give me time to see which direction my career will take. I put in for Lieutenant, if I get that then who knows. If not then...well...who knows? I'm still a huge fan of Harrison Middleton U's Doctor of Arts, I also like the idea of an MPA an MS in Project Management (Penn State or Boston U.). I also would like to teach Criminal Justice online so who knows. I need to get centered and take a break for now. I think I'll just pop a couple pints of Guinness and ignore this Woody Allen movie my wife has on. :)

Congratulations! Any Grad degree is quite an accomplishment. I noticed you mentioned pursuing continued education through PSU or BostonU. I hope you have better luck than I. I don't know where your undergrad is from but mine was obtained through Columbia Southern U. Both PSU and Boston U refused my admittance because of my non-regionally accredited undergrad. Even though I have and MBA and an MS from regionally accredited schools. I appealed but to no avail. I applied to PSU's Master in Homeland Security. They finally agreed to allow me to take courses but I would only receive undergrad credit to apply to an undergrad degree. Boston U was a flat out denial. I even had the President of the DETC plead my case.

If I had it to do over again, I would only pursue regionally accredited education. IMO. Please keep me informed if you apply to any of the aforementioned schools.

Out of curiosity, what was the reason why you stopped the program at St. Joseph’s of Maine? I was the impression that it is a solid program.
