University of Akron - Applied Politics

I don't believe I've ever seen an "Applied Politics" program, but it certainly sounds interesting. The University of Akron offers a grad certificate and a Master of Applied Politics by DL (links to the specific programs seem to be broken);

This may not have been your point...

But I think this program only meets the traditional definition of a "distance learning" program, meaning that it isn't offered online, only through asynchronous learning at a local community college in Columbus Ohio.

I'm not saying that you meant to state that this was an online program, just wanted to clarify for any interested parties.

However, Regent University does offer a fully online program in political management as a graduate certificate.
