My friend wants a regionally accredited online Masters degree in education. Can anyone recommend a school that falls within the following parameters: Concentration or specialization is immaterial, as long as it's in education. Does NOT have to lead to certification in teaching. Minimum number of credits possible. That's it!
Western New Mexico University MS in Interdisciplinary Studies: www.wnmu.edu Can't beat the price! Can combine education with another field if that will work... Shawn
For education degrees, I always recommend Western Governors University. The price is great, and WGU has a good reputation.
You did not mention cost so here is a 32 unit MA from Columbia U http://online.tc.columbia.edu/oice/index.php
The University of Wyoming has several programs that lead to a master of arts in education: master of arts degree in education with a specialization in adult and post secondary education master of science degree in education with a specialization in instructional technology master of arts degree in education with an option in educational leadership master of arts degree in education with a specialization in special education master of arts degree in education with a specialization in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in teaching and learning If one of these programs meets your needs, it's hard to beat UW for quality instruction at a low cost. Best of luck finding a program!
yaknow me again, there's a sticky on this very forum about MEd degrees. It's the third one down. It has run to 4 pages at this point so it bound to have a bit of good info embedded. (Ted ought to go for one of those data mining degrees)
