    Hello,

I am wondering if these classes would be considered duplicate credit for History I and History II CLEP tests.

    B&M classes:

***HIST 170 History of the United States - Community College
***POSC Government of the United States - Community College

    Thanks,

    Abner

Without seeing a syllabus, I would imagine that HIST 170 would be equivalent to one of the American History exams, and that the POSC course would duplicate the American Government CLEP.

Agreed; if that school only has one US History course, I would consider taking the CLEP exams US History I & II for 6 credits rather than taking the course for 3.

I got credit for the History I CLEP and the American Gov class I took at a CC. I would say - no.
