I have been accepted in american public university for an online poli sci degree and want to know if this is a good school and will take me far. Anyone know?
It is a regional accredited school that is relatively unknown. It is no better or worse than a lot of other schools. This would have been a great question to ask before applying to APU.
With few exceptions it is not the school's reputation that will determine future success but rather what you make of the educational experience. American Public University / American Military University are regionally accredited, as well as nationally accredited, and eligible for student financial aid. I studied with APU and would highly recommend either school.
Hi Shannon - It's a decent school by any account. As has been said, it may not be so much a matter of where the degree will carry you but where you will carry the degree. Where is it that you're hoping to go?
