GOT THE WORD FROM NYIT (proper)

For the remaining students at Ellis College of NYIT, actually it's "NYIT - Ellis branch". I have been asking and asking Ellis College officials what will the remaining students that WANT to stay with NYIT be considered. Will we still be students and for those of us that graduate Alumni of NYIT. I never got a straight answer, so I contacted NYIT itself and here is the email.

Ellis College of NYIT students should anticipate no change in their current or future status. Your academic experience will be the same, and your affiliation remains with NYIT. Upon completion of your degree, you will receive an NYIT diploma and will be an alumni of NYIT.

Now that I got it the word from Pappa Bear I'm happy (again) about my decision to go with NYIT.

So, I'm a bit confused.....is NYIT keeping their DL programs while Ellis University duplicates them in another format?
