I was looking through old threads and happened on one concerning the United Nations Convivium for International Education, an accreditation mill ultimately run by some Englishman.

The interesting thing is that UNCIE had an address in the World Trade Center in New York City. I was curious to see if the Convivium was still up and running, or if Osama bin Ladin had finally discovered an effective way to put mills out of business.

No such luck. The links still work, except now they take you to something called the United National Universities.

My guess is that a threat of a lawsuit by the real United Nations was more damaging to UNCIE/UNU than the loss of their secretarial service, oops, offices.

It is interesting that several of this organization's webpages have been altered pretty dramatically, removing addresses from their contact pages etc.
