    Hello guys

I'm studying at Penn Foster enrolled in their Finance program and taking some additional classes (Marketing, Accountings, Economics, Operations Management)

I figured it was better for me to get a degree from Excelsior and then go straight to graduate school instead of completing my bachelors (spending a year+) and just then go to graduate school.

So by around April 2009 i should have my associates degree and some extra credits from the out of major classes I'm taking. I'm a native Spanish speaker so I'm gonna take the Spanish CLEP for 12 more credits.

    68 credits (associates degree PF)
    12 credits (extra classes PF)
    12 credits (Spanish CLEP)

    92 credits total.

I really want the Bachelors in Marketing that Excelsior is offering. I know that of the remaining 29 credits I need 15 upper level in Marketing in order to receive the degree.

    Here are my questions:

Is Excelsior going to take the 92 credits into their program or you guys think its going to take less than that?

What suggestions you have for Classes / CLEPS for me to complete my degree and how soon you think i could be done? thanks!

Most courses in the Penn Foster College associate degree programs are reviewed by ACE, so they should transfer to Excelsior. You can check out ACE's credit recommendations for PFC courses here: http://www.acenet.edu/nationalguide/organization/index.cfm?oid=191627

Keep in mind that not all of PFC's courses are worth 3 credit hours. Information Literacy, for example, is a one credit course.

I think all of the PF classes I'm taking are ACE approved my question was more related to exceeding the requirements of a certain area lets say having 9 credits in Math when they only require 6 then having 3 credits that i cant apply anywhere. Thanks

I believe some of those credits could be applied as free electives, but Excelsior may not accept courses which are considered to be duplicate credit. For example, if you have three courses which could be considered English Composition, they may only accept enough credit to meet the English Composition requirements of the program. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
