Hi folks I am considering Robert Kennedy University DBA. Does anyone have any other info about this school? I have seen references to it re: the faculty employment status of one individual (Emir...) but other than that I don't have a lot of info. They are listed with a number of accreditation bodies for distance learning. Any info would be appreciated. Karen B
Karen If you look through the archives here you will find Robert Kennedy University from Switzerland has a reputation of a degree mill. It is definately a school to be avoided at all costs. While the search feature doesn't work you can browse through the old messages. On the other hand there are many reputable options that have been discussed completely. Capella, Touro Univ. International amoung others come to mimd. The key is typically Regional Accreditation especially for students in the U.S. Good luck in your search. Dave
RFKU is not a university. It is a business that sells papers that pretend to be degrees. It is not recognized as such by any acceptable body. Whatever accreditation claims they make are either from spurious agencies, or those who themselves are not recognized as legitimate accreditors. Rich Douglas
Karen a list of schools to look at are: Capelle Touro Internation Sarasota Fielding Union Institute Fielding Nove Southeastern USQ - Aust. Charles Sturt - Aust University of South Africa - use the Canadian contact. Each school has pluses and minuses - and have to be thought about. Plus the expensive UK options.
What a shame and travesty to name a fraudulent after one of the all time truly great Americans. Oh well, the Justice Department now bears his name and, at least that's in America.
It has been reported that RFKU claims it is not named after the late senator, but instead (I believe) for a banker in New York. That person has never been independently verified. An absurd and transparent ruse, kind of like RFKU itself. Rich Douglas
