I thought it was funny that the fake PhD included "ministerial credentials."

The amazing thing about the story is the blog below the story...People are trying to defend him! One person even claims that it is a racist attack by the newspaper....unbelievable!

    Quote from blogger:

"here we go again, this is a good ole boy town, it is unfortunate that now they are destroying the name of a good man and trying to make him look like he isn't educated. This is horrible. Bernard Lecorn is a educated good man, pastor and friend. I wish the Star Banner wasn't so racist!"

Notice that the blogger who is claiming that Mr. Lecorn is educated does not know how to properly use the word "an" before a word that begins with a vowel...

This guy doesn't know the difference between the truth and a flat out lie.

He tries to cover one lie with another lie.

    Sad situation.

Wow, this person's blog is just interesting... and on another note, the article seems to have been taken off.

"Accreditation of any college, school or university is strictly voluntary. The American College of Metaphysical Theology is not accredited. It is an incorporated religious non-profit organization and a non-secular school. Theology, like religion, is recognized and protected under the first amendment of the United States Constitution, which guarantees any citizen the right to practice and to teach it to others. This is the essence of our type of degree. Thus accreditation is of minor importance."

A claim of racism is the ultimate fall-back when you have positively nothing else with which to defend your position.

No kidding. If I ever need to hire a web designer, I'm going to hire the one that did their site!

I know American College of Metaphysical Theology has been around for at least 10 years.

They probably haven't updated their site since it was originally launched, under the theory that anyone dumb enough to think a $250 degree with no work is legitimate won't notice that the web design is 10 years out of date.

    Notice

On the day that you enroll in a degree program, you may legitimately add an important line to your resume, such as "Ph.D., American College of Metaphysical Theology (Degree expected Winter, 1998)."

    YEAH BABEY!!!
