Hello all, After many revisions, frustration, delays, etc - I just sent my dissertation proposal to my committee today. The committee had already reviewed it and was generally happy with the proposal; however, one committee member suggested that I obtain some independent reviewers to review my interview guide. (I plan to perform a qualitative exploratory study with former National Guard soldiers to determine what were the causes for not reenlisting). The independent reviewers gave feedback - I incorporated the suggestions, and now the proposal and IRB application are submitted. If all goes will (final committee approval, Capella School of Business & Technology approval, and IRB approval, I should be defending the proposal in September! Is that a light I see at the end of the tunnel... Shawn
Congratulations on clearing this hurdle. This is clearly an important study that you are conducting. Keep going. It's worth it. Tom
