I spoke with and admissions person today about their MBA program. It seems like a really inexpensive choice. I was told that each course is $660. With 12 courses the program would be under 10k with books and fees.

Also, they offer four 11 weeks sessions per year. 6 credits per term is considered full-time. I like the fact that the terms are shorter than 16 weeks, yet not so short that I couldn't handle things.

Each class can be taken with a four hour weekly B&M visit (on weekdays or Saturdays) or online.

    Hmm, seems interesting.

I would be at the San Antonio campus. Each course would be $660 for me.

    Nice deal, IMO.

It's awesome that WBU charges such reasonable tuition rates. I found the page on the website that explains why the cost is so low:

    http://www.sa.wbu.edu/academic/faq2006.htm

"Low tuition and fees - we only charge $155 per semester hour because we are an external campus and don't have sports or high overhead. So you don't have to pay for them like other universities in San Antonio."

Got my BSOE from Wayland's Sheppard AFB (wichita falls, tx) campus back in 1998.
Everything about them was top notch, never felt like it was a $s for grades outfit.

Way back when I looked at them for college after high school...campus was nice, staff was friendly.

Staff at Sheppard was knowledgeable, some of the instructors were the best I've ever had...was seriously considering them for my masters...but they didnt have what i wanted. Their B&M school is nice...it feels like family.

this is not a paid advertisement

Sounds good! Some campus visits would be nice.
