What are the highest ranked DL (peer reviewwed) journals on DL? Anybody doing any studies? Interested in researching?

There are a number of well-regarded instructional technology journals that regularly feature DL-related topics (such as Educational Technology Research & Development and the Journal of Research on Computing in Education). There are also several good journals that have a primary focus on e-Learning (DL). The American Journal of Distance Education and the Quarterly Review of Distance Education are two rigorously refereed journals. Below is a list of peer-reviewed journals, some of which are print-based and others are online. Some specialize in research-based articles and one (the Online Journal of Distance Learning Administration) deals primarily with "macro-level" (administration and leadership) issues in DL.
