Academic Honors at Excelsior now need 60 graded credits?!!

I just came across this page...

excelsior isn't giving honors for 30 graded credits for their BS anymore, it's 60 graded credits now... I'm really upset I only have 27 'marked' credits and I was going to do another 3 (math... rio salato) so that I can graduate with honors... the rest of my credits are as follows:
51 pass ace credits... on my transcripts it doesn't have marks my gpa for them is 3.6
31 nyu language credits no mention of gpa... but had to have been ok to get that for 2 languages.
in college in England I held a 4.0 gpa which is noted for in my ece evaluation...
I got a C on my ECE writing exam
I need to take 'the race to save the planet' dante and 9 credits in social science... is there anyway that I can graduate with honors?!

 

So I assume you enrolled on or after January 1 of this year? Otherwise:

 

I didn't know about this... I haven't enrolled yet...
I was wondering if asked the college where I took the ACE courses to send a transcript to excelsior... will they count it as graded credit even though ace won't put marks on their transcripts?

 

Thanks for this information. It looks like I will graduate from Excelsior this year with an Associate of Science, with Honors. My GPA is 3.51, so I'm in, just by the skin of my teeth.

after I apply, I'm going to call them up about it... hopefully if my school sends transcripts I'll be ok...
