The State of Hawaii has settled the pending litigation against Lincoln International University and its principal, Mr. Stanley A. Kligman of Pennsylvania. LIU was a relatively recent start-up with only 4 enrolled students.

The settlement is documented by a Stipulated Judgment and Permanent Injunction which will be filed with the First Circuit Court of the State of Hawaii.

Under the terms of the settlement, LIU and Mr. Kligman are enjoined from operation of any unaccredited degree granting insitutions in, from or under the claimed authority of Hawaii and its laws. The defendants have also agreed to offer full restitution to all LIU students and pay a civil penalty of $5,000( of which $3,500 is suspended opn condition that defendants abide by all terms of the judgment).
