Hi - I have seen others indicate that TESC obviously accepts CLEP for the 6 hour general studies English Composition requirement.

Does anyone know for sure whether it has to be the examination version 'with Essay' or 'without Essay', or will they accept either version for the 6 credits?

  2. I am sure it is the English Comp CLEP w/ Essay.

TESC will accept either Freshman Composition or General Composition, both are worth 6 hours, but both have to be WITH essay. The General Comp is easier in my opinion.

COSC required with essay. Have you considered calling the school, they would be the best ones to ask? ;)

I am a TESC student and I have taken the required CLEP. Either Freshman Comp or General Comp is accepted, both MUST be taken WITH essay.
