I have a couple of questions for anyone who has taken MBA courses at CSU, Dominguez Hills. First, I have read here that CSUDH is not professionally accredited. But the web site for AACSB states that they are, and the CSUDH web site states they are accredited as well. Is this only their on-campus program? Also, does the diploma from CSUDH state that it is an online program? Thanks for your imput. dkm
A common mistake, but among those to whom these things matter, there is a big difference between the ACBSP (Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs) and the more prestigious AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). CSDUH is accredited by the ACBSP, not the AACSB. Gus Sainz
And, as you can see, it is not unusual for a school to remain a candidate for 6, 7 even 8 eight years without becoming accredited. Truthfully, some never achieve accreditation. Yet it remains the Holy Grail for a business school, although in real life, I have yet to hear of an employer enquiring whether the school a candidate attended had any kind (AACSB, ACBSP, or IACBE), of business accreditation.
