    Hi Again All!

i'm hunting for a doctoral program in Organizational Leadership and am trying to look at all of the on-line programs i can find.

I've combed our board here and found these:
    Andrews University
    Antioch University
    Argosy University
    Capella University
    Fielding Graduate University
    Grand Canyon University
    Indiana Wesleyan University
    Kettering University
    Northcentral University
    Nova Southeastern
    Regent University
    Regis University
    Saybrook Graduate School
    University of Phoenix
    Walden University

I know these are a mix of PhD and EdD programs, but are you aware of any i have missed??

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Mike

Are these 100% online? or does this list include programs that require a short residency.

    Union Institute and University
    Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies
In the new and more focused redesign of the grandee of regionally accredited nontraditional doctorates, students chose a primary and a secondary concentration from among Ethical and Creative Leadership; Public Policy and Social Issues; and Humanities and Society. Short residency.

Temple Baptist Seminary, Tennessee Temple University
    Ph.D. in Leadership [pdf]
Not regionally accredited, TTU has its recognized national accreditation from TRACS. Short residency.

    University of South Africa
    D.B.L., Doctor of Business Leadership
UNISA's Graduate School of Business Leadership also offers the M.B.L., as well as the traditionally titled M.B.A. UNISA is a public university recognized to a level that should be widely accepted as equivalent to American recognized accreditation. "A participant may be required to defend the thesis before a panel of examiners."

External research doctorates, commonly short residency but potentially entirely nonresident, might also be available from many institutions with the research doctorate model especially in South Africa, Australia, the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. Organizational leadership focuses could be available in established nonresident doctorates from business schools, like the D.B.A.s from a few prestigious British ones, in particular.

    Good luck!

    Hi Makana,
i'm not sure. at this point i'm just collecting leads on DL programs, then will do a comparison. But, believe me, residency will be one of the factors in my consideration. Still, i do believe that most will require some short residencies, but thats not a deal-breaker for me..

Very few of these programs are online programs (re false advertising). The majority of them are hybrid at best (i.e., require work on campus, such as residencies, mixed with online classes). Off the top of my head, I know that Northcentral is online and Argosy is hybrid.

Regent, Grand Canyon, and Walden are also not online; they're hybrid. I haven't checked the others, but in the field of organizational leadership (or in any doctoral area of study in the US, for that matter), I highly doubt you'll find authentic online programs numbering more than the fingers in your hands.

Thanks for the clarification folks. Okay so its safe to assume that these programs are a mixture of online and residency based, which is fine. Alright any more?
