Well I took my final exam in my last class Wednesday. My degree is through AMU and I have a BA in Homeland Security with a concentration in Terrorism Studies. I actually have the Learning Outcomes Assessment test to take but that is scheduled for this coming Wednesday, and that will be everything needed. I have all ready started the application process to Grad school. I plan to attend Jacksonville State University to obtain a MS in Emergency Management and probably their Grad certificate in GIS, have a strong interest in that. I usually just lurk but have really learned alot from the posters here, and have even gotten some assistance from Makan793, who has been nice enough to answer any questions I have through PM, and many others who post on this site.
Congratulations, well done!! Keep us updated on JSU; I really like the cost & offerings of their DL programs.
I learned about JSU through this forum. I really liked the fact that their prices are very cheap, compared to other college costs, and the MS in Emergency Management even online is the same price as a Alabama resident, I live in Ohio. I also found out about the Grad Cert in GIS through this forum. I have only sent in an application and the $20 to have it reviewed. I'm waiting now to have them ask me for all the information they need.
Just got my grade back from the math class, got a B, not bad as I never use math and I'm terrible at math. Ended up with a 3.5554 overall GPA according to my classroom page. Not bad I guess could have done better but I honestly have always hated school, and that include college, and lost interest in my classes very quickly I also never study.
