    I've been wanting to post a question for a while regarding online MBA programs but somehow I wasn't able to participate in the discussion forum. Obviously that has been taken care of.

    After conducting much research, I pretty much answered my own questions in regards to online MBA programs. I would like to share a piece of information about a new online MBA that can arguably the best program for the money coming from a respected College.Here is the breakdown..

    -Fitchburg State College
    -17 month online MBA program with classes lasting 7 weeks taken one at a time.
    -RA and IACBE accredited
    -BM State supported school
    - No GMAT required and no pre-requistes required if you have a masters degree (told by a counselor)
    -The best part of it all only $150 for in-state and out of state tuition
    -30 hrs required to complete the program
    -general management, accounting and human resource concentrations

    Yes, the program appears to be a good deal. Specifics available at this page.

    Program page;

    One thing you forget, which is easy to do for a non-resident, is that Massachusetts is the Land of the Killer Fees. In addition to the $150 per credit in tuition, there is;

    Educational Services Fee: $78 per credit
    Technology Fee: $5 per credit
    Capital Projects Fee: $7 per credit
    Online Program Fee: $58 per credit

    That jumps the rate to $298 per credit; still decent, but the overall program cost is $8,940. Compare that to Jacksonville State University where you can get a AACSB-accredited MBA for about the same total cost.
