Peru State Good Morning, Peru State has two three credit grad classes in Spec. Ed. in the certificate program for Classroom Management. Hille
If you are talking Educational Specialist programs, there are 4 that I looked at: Nova Southeastern University has several such programs: http://www.schoolofed.nova.edu/fgshome/degree_programs.htm Liberty University has an Ed.S. in Educational Administration: http://www.luonline.com/index.cfm?PID=14383 Northwestern State's Ed.S. programs: http://www.nsula.edu/ece/degreeprogs/ed.asp Webster's Ed.S. program: http://www.webster.edu/online/programshow.php?prog=sssl
Around here, the Ed.S. is commonly referred to as C.A.G.S. (Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study), and my alma mater UMass-Lowell offers an interesting one online in Curriculum & Instruction (Education of Diverse Populations); http://continuinged.uml.edu/online/cags.cfm
Depending upon your location Webster University in Missouri has a Ed.S. program. http://www.webster.edu/depts/education/eds.html Webster Groves Campus courses: $395 per credit hour Online courses: $395 per credit hour Offsite Ed.S. courses: $265 per credit hour (some restrictions apply) Regards,
I hope it is not considered heretical to post a weblink to a list found on another board : http://online.degree.net/online-degree-chat/t-eds-degree-1877.html .
University of Missouri -- Columbia http://online.missouri.edu/educationspecialist.html Reasonably priced online classes at (currently) $286/credit. I am currently taking a class in this program (dabbling before applying to the program). I'm not overly impressed. A PhD-student TA is running the class, and neither she nor the professor is actively involved. Because this school has a strong on-campus program in the same subject matter, it seems as though online classes are not a priority. I have decided not to apply and dropped the summer school class I signed up for. Northwestern State University (Natchitoches, Louisiana) http://www.nsula.edu/ece/degreeprogs/ed.asp Extremely reasonably priced at about $133/credit. I applied to this program but was rejected because it requires a current teaching credential. I then tried to enroll in a class as a nondegree-seeking graduate student (dabbling again), but a variety of administrative glitches prevented me from enrolling. Although information is available on the web site, it's sketchy and difficult to navigate. I recommend calling the graduate office. They are nice and knowledgable. At least one other participant on this board is currently in the program and can probably provide more information. Tricia Schodowski M.S.
