    Pickering Institute offers FEMA Independent Study courses as part of the BS in Environmental Science Program.

    Stumbled across this. Looks a little old, but I thought I would at least point it out. Three of the FEMA courses are no longer offered by FEMA. It can at least be added to the list of those colleges that have used FEMA courses for college credit. I have not researched the college as I have no interest in their programs.

    While I have all the college credit I need from the FEMA courses, I still do the FEMA Independent Study courses and have completed 79 courses now.

    Graduate from Excelsior with a degree in Criminal Justice April 18, 2008.

    I don't believe that Pickering is accredited by a recognized agency...just throwing that out there.
