OK. I'm planning to get my College Bachelor's Degree from Thomas Edison State College. The trouble is that both due to my personal interests and my desire to have a "back-up plan", I'll have over 120 credits before I complete my degree.
    They divide as follows:
Community College: 36-45 Credits* (*I'm not sure if My AP Courses are recorded on my community college transcript, and, if so, if they will include them.)
CLEP: 36 now, more later Credits (I may take some more courses from CLEP.)
DSST: 0 Credits (I may take some DSST Exams)
USDA Graduate School: 2 Credits now, 21+ credits later (I'm planning to take USDA's Library Technician courses, as well as the indexing , proofreading and editing)
FEMA Independent Study: 1-2 Credits now, more later. (I've heard different things about the FEMA Courses TESC accepts.)
US Air Force Distance Learning: 16 Credits later (I'm not in the USAF, but as a Civil Air Patrol Member, I am allowed to take certain USAF Distance Courses.)

No single source will have more than 60 Credits, but the combined total of all the courses will be above 120 Credits.

If your community college does not include your AP tests, be sure to contact The College Board and have your AP transcript sent. Depending on what degree you want to graduate with, you may end up with some extra unused credits (I have some) in one category and still need credit in another. Don't waste a chance to apply all the credit you have earned- send everything and wait for your evaluation to see how it plays out.
Also, I am pretty sure that the 60 credit cap will be on your community college AND junior college credit. Looks like you are well under that requirement.
    GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!

I just had an afterthought, if your grad credits fall out as "extra" credits, you might want to consider having them removed from your transcript so you can use them later in grad school. I have read where transfer credits can't be used if they are part of a previous degree- and even though they would be extra, it may be looked at as "part of" the degree. On the other hand, if you have them and need them, you SHOULD use them- I am just thinking if they end up as extras.

I do not have a complete list of the FEMA courses that TESC accepts, but I can give you the 29 they have accepted from me.

Remember that TESC an an upper division requirement, but i don't recall what it is off the top of my head. They count 2nd year classes as upper division, but I don't know how or where some of your courses would be counted. They also have a limit as to the number of credits that can be earned at a 2 year school...again, not sure how RESC would view some of your credit sources.

OK. Here are the courses I've taken:
AP (Course Transcript was sent to my community College, but I don't know if they've accepted it. The AP Courses were taken over 10 years ago, so if the college didn't use them in the past, they may be gone.):
    AP US History
    AP Psychology
    Community College Courses:
    English 101 and 102 (Composition)
    Public Speaking (SPC 205)
    College Algebra (MAT 110)
    Intro to Accounting (ACC 101)
    Music Appreciation (MUS 105)
Intro to Political Science (PSC 201)
State and Local Government (PSC 215)
    Intro to Philosophy (PHI 101)
    Ethics (PHI 110)
    Honors Seminar (IDS 210)
Western Civ to 1689 (HIS 101)
    CLEP Courses:
    German
    American Literature
    British Literature
    Analyzing and Interpreting Literature
    Intro to Sociology
    Information Systems and Computer Applications
    Intro to Business Law
    Western Civ Post 1689
    FEMA Courses:
    IS-7 A Citizen's Guide to Disaster Assistance
IS-22 Are You Ready? An In-Depth Guide to Citizen Preparedness (I don't think this qualifies, but just in case...)
IS-100 Introduction to the Incident Command System
IS-200 ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents
    USDA Grad School Courses:
Introduction to Library Techniques (LIBT 1110C)

These are just the ACE-approved courses I've taken.

    I also have:
Current American Red Cross Certification in Adult, Infant and Child CPR and First Aid.
    FEMA Community Response Team Certified.

I'm working my way for some other things. (As far as I know the only core course left to be taken is science, and I'm covering part of it with my USAF Weather Journeyman I course.)

You want to know the courses I plan to take too? :)

I just did a quick scan of the list of courses, I did not notice any science courses(did I miss them). This may be something to look into. There is normally a required number of Math/Science courses needed even for a Liberal Arts degree.

    Just something to consider.

After a very quick review of your courses, what jumps out at me is that you don't have any courses from 4 year institutions, and it appears that only 3 of your courses are 200 level or higher. As I mentioned in my earler post, TESC has requirements regarding a minimum number of upper level credits that are needed and a maximum number of credits that will be accepted from 2 year institutions. I tried to pull the exact info from their website but it's down at the moment. From memory I believe no more than 90 hours are permitted to transfer from 2 year institutions and a minimum of 21 hours of upper division credit is needed.

First, regarding the science course, I hope my USAF Weather Journeyman course I'm taking right now will qualify for some of the science requirement. (ACE evaluates it as being worth 3 lower-level semester units worth of Meteorology and 2 lower-level semester units worth of radar operation.)
Can I focus my Science studies in one field, or do I need to take two sciences? (Also, will meteorology count as one of said sciences?)

Second, in regards to the upper-level courses, I believe my CLEP courses may cover some of them. (My CLEP Courses haven't been recorded on my Community College Transcript.) In addition, I still have to take some of the USDA Library Science Courses. (At least two of them are Upper-Level.) (TESC's website is down right now, so I will need to check the catalog in the morning.)

Finally, I'll only be transferring 45 maximum units from my 2-Year school. The rest I hope to get by using DSST, CLEP, and the ACE-approved FEMA and USAF courses. (Plus a bit of Distance Learning, PLA's and TECEP's.)

Any further thought/suggestions/things I got wrong?

Which CLEP tests do you believe might be considered upper division. TESC considers all of the FEMA stuff as 1st year courses, and FEMA will not count as a 4 year institution, nor will the ACE stuff. You should obviously confirm this with a TESC credit evaluator to be sure, but I am a TESC student and have some experience with them.

OK According to The 2007 TESC Catalog, the CLEP courses I've taken that transfer to 200-level courses include:
    Introductory Business Law (3 units)
    English Literature (6 Units)
Analyzing and Interpreting Literature (6 Units)

In addition, I plan to take some courses from the USAF, USDA and DANTES to fulfill a few more of my requirements.

However, if someone who knows more about TESC can tell me more about the question I raised in my earlier thread about how the USDA Library Technician courses transfer to TESC.
