I'm looking for opinions on Ashworth University and their progams including but not limited to academic value, customer service, program materials, course effort, or whatever else you may have to offer. Thanks!

I'm an alumn and posted a lenghty post called Ashworth College Hindsigt 20/20 or something to that effect where I pretty much give my overall impressions.

    In a nut shell.

A useful degree with a good curiculum.

Terrible, terrible customer service. Communicating with them in my experience was next to impossible in some cases. I've heard that they have since improved.

Probably the least expensive option out there.

It was worth the investment to me, but others that have enrolled about the time that I was in became frustrated with no communication and dropped out.

If you are considering Ashworth for the associate degree, I'd like to point you in the direction of Penn Foster instead. They are the same price, books are included, but most of Penn Foster's courses are also ACE evaluated. Having the courses ACE evaluated means MUCH easier credit transfers down the road when dealing with regionally accredited schools. Having taken numerous Penn Foster courses, I can personally attest to the quality of the materials, course content, level of difficulty, etc.

I'm "looking" at their B.S. in Management, if PFC had a bachelors program I would head that way. I may use some PFC courses to complete another B.S. with EC. Thanks!

I've used a bunch of Penn Foster courses toward my degree program at TESC. I just ordered my last two today actually.

I was able to transfer my AS from Ashworth College into the BS program at www.sckans.edu (regionally accredited).

As for the life experience credit test, I never took it. But if there life experience test is anything like their final exams, it will be fairly difficult.
