Does anyone know of an inexpensive Basic Comminications course? My wife needs this class to satisfy Bellevue's core requirement. They're looking for something along the lines of Fundamentals of Speech Communication or Oral Communication Skills.

    Thanks!

One of the free FEMA EMI courses is communication and should be worth an hour.

LSU offers a couple IS courses in comms. http://www.is.lsu.edu/courselist.asp?cat=Communication+Studies&nid=102&pg=

Brigham Young has a number of comms courses including public speaking

as you look for these classes - keep in mind that public speaking is often in the theater department; especially when there isn't a separate communications department.
