    Hello,
Thechnically I need 1 upper level credit to graduate:
    Here is the breakdown
I need 1 credit either in math or natural science.
And 1 Upper credit in a non-applied professional category.

    Therefore I have 2 options:
Option 1: find a class with 1 upper credit math or natural science and I am done.
Problem is I am not the best at math.

Option 2: find an easy 1 credit math or natural science class or test and one upper credit non-applied professional which I should have no problem completing by taking an exam.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you much,

This is a Math/Science Upper Level Credit by Examination that is worth 3 Upper Level credits

If an entry level statistics course will meet the math requirement, the University of Wyoming offers STAT 2000, Statistics and The World, online. I enrolled for this course while I was waiting to have my independent study project approved, and it looked very easy. (I would have taken the course to get the hours I needed to graduate had my independent study project not been approved, but it was.) Then, you can pretty much take your pick from a few social science DSST exams for your upper-level credit:

Rise and Fall of The Soviet Union
    The Civil War and Reconstruction
    Drug and Alcohol Abuse

Best of luck! Looking forward to your "I'm done!" post!

If you haven't already taken it the DANTES Environment & Humanity exam is one of the easier natural science exams you could take, it's lower level. Of the UL Excelsior exams I've taken the Gerontology and Psychology of Adulthood & Aging ones were the easiest for me.

Thanks to all of you for your help!
What I am really looking for is the easiest 1 credit lower or upper in math/science category that I can either test out of or quickly knock off.
Is there such a class/test out there???
Again thank you for you input..........

A single credit hour exam or class that grants upper division credit in math is a tall order - most upper division classes, especially in a subject area like math, are going to be at least 3 credit hours. If you're a math phobic, and a lower-level class will do to satisfy the math requirement while you use an exam in a subject you're more comfortable with to satisfy the upper-division hours requirement, that is probably the easiest way to do it. There's no rule saying you can't graduate with more credit hours than required by your degree program. It took me 146 credit hours total to earn my BS. What's important is finishing. Good luck!

I remember someone mentioning before a history of math course at UoP that was 1 credit and counted as a math course. I don't know if it was upper level.

You might find a 1 credit "Statistics and Computers" course (like Excel, SAS, or SPSS). It's more of a how-to-use-software course than a stats course, so it is much easier than your typical math class. UF has a class like this, but it is not DL. You might be able to take something like it at a local university near you.
