Does anyone know where one can study for the MBA prereqs for cheap?
I was looking at some sites yesterday for Mississipi State, Florida State and others. They all require some calc/stats/macro and microecon classes but they are expensive. I'm trying to find a place to study them and have them ready for transfer after acceptance to an MBA.
I'm trying to pay for the stuff myself or get FAFSA, not have the military to pay for it.
    Any resources or thoughts please?

Check out the Georgia WebMBA programs.

The programs have the premier AACSB accrediation and they offer expedited and inexpensive foundation coursework.

    Pre-requisite Courses:

The Georgia WebMBA schools are moving to reduce the number of business pre-requisites needed by our applicants. The change is in progress at most of our schools and will be implemented soon.

For now, KSU already requires a limited number of pre-requisites: financial accounting and managerial accounting, finance, and statistics. Other schools have similar requirements.

Applicants with an undergraduate degree in business will likely not be required to take pre-requisites.

Obtaining Pre-requisites Quickly, Conveniently, and Affordably:

The MBA director at the school where you apply will review your transcript to determine which courses you need. (You can fax an unofficial transcript to him or her now.) The WebMBA offers CD-based, self-paced modules as equivalents to pre-requisites. A senior graduate faculty member facilitates the modules, guiding you through the planning, instruction, and assessment phases. Depending on the applicant’s business experience, undergraduate work, and time commitment, the modules can be completed quickly and easily.

Have you considered looking for an MBA that has no prerequisites? They do exist. For one example, UMASS.

Take a look at the MBA programs at Jonnies page. You'll find several programs that may work for you.

But they do. They have a 70-hour foundations course.

Good to know, guess I was mistaken. Anyway, my point remains...there are programs without pre-requisites. Sorry I don't have time to search them for you at the moment, but take a look at that link I posted and see what you find.
