Adding my request to the group. Requirements:

    RA
12 (minimum) or 16 week term starting in January or preferably February
    Online of course
    and most important - Cheap
Waiver of GMAT (I already have an MBA)

I need one or more of the following:

    Money/Banking/Financial Institutions
    Public Entity Finance
    Risk Management
    International Finance

I've already had and don't want to duplicate:
    Investment/Portfolio Management
    Financial Statement Analysis
    Corporate Finance

Northcentral U has several but they're expensive -- $495/credit hour

APU/AMU has some great classes and it's cheaper but they don't seem to be offering them any time soon. I've been waiting and emailing with them since August. If anyone has any idea what the holdup is, please let me know.

Any help would be appreciated. I'd prefer to take 2-3 with the same school instead of switching from school to school. It helps cut down on adjustments if the classes can all be at the same place.

If I can't find any, I'll go with NCU as I like the flexibility and the term length.

    Thanks in advance.

If you do not need to earn credit maybe MIT Sloan might have courseware that will meet your needs (e.g. 15.012 International Economics)

    Thanks everyone!

I am still looking. Randall, TUI is perfect except that I don't want to start the first week in January...that's when my next class that I'm teaching starts.

Ted, thanks for the list. I've gone through a lot of those but I'm trying to find a quick way to find cheap+12/16 week terms+RA and it is just so time consuming. But I appreciate the list.

Ian, thanks. I do want credit classes.

Looking for Grad-Level Finance Class - UoL External

University of London, External Programme offers many graduate level programs in Finance. You can take a look at them here.

They also allow people to take one course at a time. The MBA program offered by SOAS and Royal Holloway also have the courses that you are looking at.

    Update

Just FYI for anyone else who is interested, APU/AMU has finally put their grad-level finance classes on the schedule. I've signed up for an 8-week Public Finance (DM 608) class that will mostly occur during a period between terms, so I won't be teaching. After that, I'll probably take a 16-week International Finance (DM609) which should dovetail nicely with my teaching load.

Registration was super-easy online and unlike other schools there was no registration fee - hooray! And if I end up having to drop before the second week, there is no administrative fee.

The instructor seems experienced and a Google search only turned up good info.

And best of all is the low price- $825 for a 3-credit course and I can buy a used textbook online.

I'll let you know how I like it.

I took a class with AMU 2 years ago.
What you say is true of their helpful and easy registration process and the knowledge of their professors. I had to drop it for family reasons, but I kept a good impression throughout the time I studied there.

    Amu

I know proctored tests are required at AMU for history courses. Is this true for finance/business courses as well?

I believe so. I just emailed a request for the syllabus so we'll see what it says when I get it.

There's a testing center at the CC where I teach. It should be pretty convenient.
