I have a friend of a friend who wants to start an introductory college-level econ class in December so it will be finished before another class starts in late February. Anyone have any ideas?

Another option would be a 6 week class starting January 2nd.

    Thanks in advance.

Keiser University has online courses with four week terms. They're not cheap, and their slapdash web site may make them look like a degree mill, but they do have regional accreditation and they fit your friend's criteria.

Northeastern University has a 6-week online Principles of Macroeconomics class starting 1/7 and ending 2/17 (scroll to bottom). Not cheap - $1,168.

Central Texas College Online offers 8-week macro and micro economics classes that both starting on 12/10 running through 2/08. Out-of-state tuition costs $130/semester hour or $390/3 hr. course. Students must register 13 days prior to start date. Click on Schedule and then the drop down box.

CTC recently raised instate, out-of-district tuition by $4/hr. But $50/hr with no fees is still cheaper than almost all other instate, indistrict tuition at 2-year colleges in Texas.

I took Econ at Central Texas College and as the previous poster indicated, they have new terms starting every month (8 week classes).

Also, I attend Columbia College (Missouri) and they offer 8 week undergrad econ classes. Next term start is Jan. 16th.
