UWF out-of-state tuition waiver worth to mention that acceptance to one of UWF's 37 degree or certificate programs provides an out-of-state tuition waiver that reduces out-of-state tuition to near that of in-state. see the link below for details. http://onlinecampus.uwf.edu/affordable/tuition.cfm
<$125 undergrad online <$275 grad online with the out of state tuition waiver, this may be a 'best buy' for programs and courses online. Has anyone given them a try?
Missouri State University Missouri State University is another public university that charges almost same in-state/out-state tuition, i.e. <$265 per credit. http://msonline.missouristate.edu/
Been to there campus for a look around with a friend. Nice place. Nice facilities, low tuition, military friendly... School has a solid rep in the local area. I believe they partner with Columbia Southern Univ on some things.
University of West Florida is apparently expanding the Master of Science in Administration with three new concentrations - Database Administration, Leadership, and Software Engineering Administration. The new concentrations begin this coming Fall. The MSA program page has already received an update reflecting the new database admin courses. The website also lists a new database systems certificate that can be taken for either grad or undergrad credit. Cool!
I noticed their online campus offered courses in MBA General and Management/MIS. I spoke with the online campus operator, who mentioned you did not have to be enrolled in a program to take their courses. I left a message for the dept so hopefully I'll get some more information.
I am attending UWF getting my undergrad in ESE/Reading/ESOL. As an online program they are great and are willing to work with you all the time. The transition through semesters are with ease and the teachers (some) are understanding and dont' grade too harsh.
This is interesting. I was looking at their online graduate certificate in accounting. As I was reading through it they mention that they offer all of the courses for their Master of Accountancy program online too... even though they don't advertise such an online program. I wonder what's stopping someone from completing all course requirements for the program online to graduate? The school is AACSB accredited too. And since they don't charge out-of-state tuition a person could complete the program for only $8,250.
