I am looking for a PhD in Education. I want the degree in either special education, curriculum and instruction or educational technology. I don't mind some residencies but I do want it to be from a regular B&M school. Capella and Kaplan are not options. Price doesn't matter either.

    Thanks

Here http://forums.degreeinfo.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27235 is a list of short-residency education doctorates. With that as a starting point, you might cull down the list to find one in special education, educational technology, or curriculum and instruction.

I have had very good experiences with Nova's concentration in Instructional Technology & Distance Education.

Also, several of the faculty I have had for classes are noted leaders/authors in the field.
