A while back there was a post that Nova was a candidate for AACSB (see this thread). I contacted them recently, but they gave me a cryptic answer. Something like "we will pursue AACSB accreditation when appropriate". This was from a front-line "recruiter". Several months ago, I had talked to a current student, and he indicated they were a candidate for AACSB.

    Does anyone know anything more?

I am not sure if it is common knowledge, but to become a candidate, all it takes (from what I was told) is to pay dues, so bascially anybody can get to become a candidate, but to become accredited is a 3-5 year process (minimum), and a difficult process.

On the specifics to this school, I am not sure, so would like to hear what others think.

NSU has talked about AACSB for a number of years. I don't know anything yet - but I have a close contact at the school, and I'll be on campus in early December. I'll let this NG know when I find anything out.

    Regards - Andy
