I work in public education and would very much like to become a principal. I am in California and want advice as to what would be a good course to follow to get me a job as soon as possible. When I am able to apply, (I need to wait two years to get the required years of teaching) I will have; MA Special Education from National University, MA in Educational Leadership from Michigan State University, a special education credential and administrative services credential. My concern is that I will be relatively young, 27, so I am looking for anything that will make me look better to those who will hire me. Any suggestions on degrees, certificates or programs that I should do that will improve my chances or is that enough to ensure me a position.

    Thanks

Look for an EdD in Educational Leadership. There should be plenty.
