Marshall University is highly respected, and it offers several (a handful of) online degree programs. But it might be right up someone's alley. I've never read a post about the programs at Marshall, so I thought I'd provide a link:

My alma matre, thought not via online. I did, however, benefit from an innovative (for the time) program for adult learners in their regents BA program. Go Herd!!!

Good Morning, My husband and son graduated from this school. Currently they give alum children in state tuition. We missed that deal. I have not been able to get it for grad school but am going to try again. Hille

I wanted to start a thread on Marshall University, but I found an old thread and decided to bump it.

Anybody complete any online classes through Marshall? I kind of like the Regents Program. The price is also pretty good. They don't offer a ton of classes, but I could put enough useful credits together to make it through.

I have my degree plan all planned out, but I am always looking for the better deal. lol

I completed a BA in from Marshall, and they are an excellent school. While I did not go the regents route, I had several courses online. The coursework varies (as in any institution) from difficult to moderately easy. Marshall operates on a semester program with shorter summer sessions. You will find that most of the available classes are offered during the fall and spring semester. The summer offers a very short intersession and three summer quarters. After Marshall, I attended Troy University. While I have no complaints with the education that the Troy DL program provided, Marshall IMHO is the better school. You may find admissions slightly unorganized; however, the school is top-notch in service. They are more than happy to assist you in any way possible. Overall, Marshall is first-rate.

If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask.
