I know this has been mentioned here before, but it looks like Ashworth University has finally rolled out their bachelor degree programs. The programs are Business, eBusiness, Management and Marketing. The price is $1,200 per semester for eight semesters, for a grand total of $9,600 for a degree. Textbooks are included in the program, just like with the associate and masters degree programs. For some odd reason, "bachelor degree candidates" can only enroll by calling Ashworth (no online enrollment".
At $9,600, I wonder if the Ashworth University bachelor degree program is the least expensive bachelor degree program offered by a DETC accredited college? I believe California Coast University is $110 per unit, so if a student were starting from square one, their bachelor degree would cost nearly $14,000. Are there any lower-cost options for a BA or BS from a DETC accredited school?
A bachelor degree from Aspen University will cost $24,200 if a student is starting from scratch. Both Cal Coast and Ashworth are lower cost options.
Aspen now has a deal to finish a degree for just $4500,00 (you might get a $1500 off of this lowered tuition) "Earn your Degree for only $4,500.00 plus books and material" Please contact the school for more info. www.aspen.edu
$4,500 is the price if you pay it all up front. Also, Aspen's bachelor program is a degree completion program. You must have an associate degree to enroll.
At the bottom it says it expires 8/15/07. Unless they have additional grant funds available, I suppose. Abner
I enrolled in Aspen in early August and was told that in order to secure the $3k tuition, I had to have my application in and tuition paid in full by 8/15.
Ashworth University? Hi there, Does anyone have the email address of an admissions counselor or officer at Ashworth University? Thx Sam
Does anyone know if Ashworth only offer "full program enrollments" or can they/will they accept transfer credit and allow you to complete any needed program requirements? Sorry to ask here as I would call them directly but it's the weekend and their office is closed.
Got this from their website...... We accept up to 90 credit hours of transfer credit towards the bachelor’s degree program. So that would leave 30 credits (15 courses) to be completed.
