Does anyone know anything about Professional Caareer Development Institute (PCDI)? I am researching different home study schools for Medical Transcription and Medical Billing. Debbie
PCDI offers courses leading to a certificate in many areas, all accredited by DETC, which is a USDoE/CHEA recognized accreditor. One may also complete a two year degree (DETC) through Ashworth College, which is the degree granting school associated with PCDI. I am currently serving as a proctor for a friend in law enforcement, who is working toward the Associates in Criminal Justice. By being DETC accredited the PCDI certificate programs will have substance, however, the credits may/maynot transfer to regionally accredited schools. One would also need to verify that the certificate would meet one's present and future needs. Russell
My wife just completed a course in interior decorating and was pleased with what she learned and with the process as a consumer. She has no interest in using the learning experience toward a regionally accredited degree.
