Ethics is is often an overlooked aspect in association with IT. In this course, we identify and discuss a number of common (and some uncommon) ethical problems within IT usage in a modern e-service society. We will go through some basic ethical theories which you will apply to realistic problems. Another problem which is overlooked also, is the professional attitude of IT-consultants. We will go through and relate to a number of ethical rules from England primarily, who has had these rules for a long time. Other problems we relate to is copyright and personal integrity. On course completion, you will have a focused point of view considering the role of IT in the new society.
