A friend of mine has about 90 undergraduate credits. She lives in NJ, and in the past has attended Thomas Edison. What would be the cheapest and easiest way for her to finish? Just from looking around, I'd guess that'd be for her to stay with Thomas Edison, take some online classes, and have them transfered to her degree.

What are some inexpensive sources for online classes that she could take that Thomas Edison will accept in transfer? It'd have to be online classes because she has a chaotic schedule (she does volunteer work for emergency services).

As Ted mentioned, LSU Independent Study is an inexpensive option to earn credits for transfer:

Costs are $75 per credit hour plus books. The modality is generally independent study by correspondence, which is extremely flexible for folks with a busy schedule. However, the total lack of deadlines requires maturity and self-motivation. Many of the courses also can be taken through the web.

BYU is pretty much the same, except that it is somewhat more expensive ($130 per semester hour) BYU has fewer college courses than LSU. Here is the link:

Penn Foster has about 150 ACE approved classes that TESC will accept. Penn Foster is less expensive than both LSU and BYU.

    TESC completion

Good Morning, My suggestion for the TESC completion would be to use the FEMA EMI courses to see if that could wrap things up. There are also the two 1 credit courses Q 118 and Q318 through the USFA that are ACE transcripted that might speed things up. Hille

Just FYI, my friend finished her degree in about two months be taking FEMA classes and four classes through Penn Foster. She was a lapsed Thomas Edison student with about 90 credits.
