I want to get General MBA from a school with a AACSB that does not put that much weight on GMAT. This has to be Online MBA

I have bachelors in Information Technology from AIU with 3.8 GPA.

I really liked Lehigh University online MBA http://lehighmba.com/onlineMBA.asp

Can you suggest any good school.

Texas A&M at Commerce doesn't require GMAT if your over-all GPA over 2.75. The program requires prerequisites because your undergraduate degree is not in Business. The prerequisites is 18 credits, 18 credits degree components, 6 electives, and 6 information analysis component.

go to http://www.geteducated.com find a better school and program. As far as I know only Texas A&M at Commerce has the exception on GMAT, which is AACSB Accredited.

UF has an online MBA. They are AACSB and are ranked in the top 10 or 20 depending on your favorite magazine.

Because the online students are usually employed full-time, they don't put as much on the GMAT as they do with on-campus students. See http://www.cba.ufl.edu/programs/distance.asp

Have you taken the GMAT? If you scored 550+ you should be able to get into many of the programs, especially with a high undergrad GPA. Just provide a good explanation of the low GMAT.

Lehigh is a great school. Get good recommendations and nail the essays and apply. See what happens. You could always apply to someplace like TAMU-C previously mentioned if you don't get it.

If your concerned, you could study very hard and take the GMAT again when you're fully prepared. Schools take the highest score.

In answer to your question, UMASS has a high acceptance rate (87%) and low average GMAT scores (550) according to Business Week.

Also, I believe Western Kentucky University and University of Wisconsin - Whitewater has a specific formula for the applicant. 3.8 x 200 + GMAT Score = 1000 to 1050. If you haven't taken GMAT, and don't want to take GMAT...then Texas A&M.

Keep in mind that IACBE is not recognized by the U.S Department of Education nor CHEA. There is one of the Degreeinfo's user had rank these degrees.

    AACSB: Gold
    ACBSP: Silver
    IACBE: Bronze

In my opinion, I wouldn't go for Maryhurst University for MBA for two reasons not AACSB nor ACBSP, and too expensive.

I suggest a strong study program for the GMAT and then see what score you get. Don't worry about a score until you get one. You are not gunning for a Top 30 full-time program, you do not need a stellar score! With your GPA, I suspect you'll do fine.

As far a Marylhurst, I don't see anything special about it. There are AACSB programs, many with national name recognition, for the same or less cost. Why spend you're money there?

If you do nothing else to prepare for the GMAT, buy the Algebra for Dummies and Algebra II for Dummies workbooks and work them completely. That alone should help your score immensely.
