Consulting for Academics (Canada Preferably)

Is there a recruiting company or other association that specialises in placing academics in contract consulting positions in Canada (or the U.S.)? As you know, depending on the amount of hours taught each week, not to mention most of the summer free, professors can have quite some time off. Contract consulting seems like a good way to make use of the time and make some extra money.

Any ideas? Canadians?
