    Here is the website:

    http://www.iugrad.com/

This one is easy for me to attend since i am based over here

They ae based in st kitts, which is also the base for their incorporation.

    As from thier site:

The University is incorporated in St. Kitts, W. I. under English law and is fully accredited by the Government of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, West Indies.

I spoke to one otheir contacts who made the statement that they are recognized by the st kitts government and are recognized also in the UK

I spoke also to some of their students who came mainly from the USA and were doctors and other specialists.

I will get a special deal in terms of price, a steep reduction because i am a resident of the Island.

But how is this degree accepted worldwide, i am not able to establish their worth in terms of accrditation, acceptance and legal use in let me say the USA or the UK to anem two specific countries. Since they are based in the commonwelath i am very interested in the UK part.

    ON the accreditation page:

    http://www.iugrad.com/about/accreditation.html

there are two letters in pdf form which i can not open due to access restrictions from my network.

    Any thoughts?

    :p

St. Kitts has had some problems with international recognition in part from very lax standards. They accredited Berne University, which was widely considered sub-standard, and as a result the nation's entire accreditation system was brought into disrepute. As an example of this disrepute, degrees from IUGS are illiegal to use in several U.S. states.

Moreover, the page you mention says a few things that to me are red flags. One is referring to the "British Commonwealth". Firstly, St. Kitts' membership in the Commonwealth is irrelevant. Secondly, the Commonwealth of Nations hasn't been called that for a really long time, and it suggests that they're trying to paint themselves with a veneer of British legitimacy that doesn't apply here. A similar red flag is that they refer to St. Kitts' membership in UNESCO, which has nothing to do with anything. Another red flag is that they say, "Accreditation from a sovereign country is the highest form of accreditation." Considering the issues St. Kitts itself has with recognition, that's a very arguable statement.

When considering a school in the Commonwealth of Nations, it's best to stick to those that are members of the Association of Commonwealth Universities. And as far as IUGS goes, as I said in a another thread, if you're considering them, why not consider South African universities instead and get a better recognized, less expensive degree? (And I wish I didn't have to say that, for as a Caribbean citizen I'd love to be able to say that a school there is the one of choice!)

    Good luck,
