I got my official graduation notice from Excelsior today; finished my B.S in Liberal Studies. I am thankful to all members of degreeinfo for posting their experiences and offering advice to others who are on their degree journey. I always wanted a college education but the nearest 4 yr college from where I live is about 70 miles one-way. The distance and working full-time seemed to have put higher education out of reach. Then in late 2003, I found degreeinfo where I learned about CLEP and DANTES testing, online classes and other resources to help complete my college education. Now I can be proud to say I graduated from College; the only one in my entire family! Next stop is the MS in Legal Studies at Cal U of PA. Again, thanks to all!
Congratulations! Now tell us, what is your ultimate goal? What do you hope to accomplish with the Masters?
Congratulations and thanks for sharing your story. It is a motivator for many of us. Good luck in your master's program!
Congrats on finishing your bachelor's! Now that you've already told us which master's is on your agenda next (and taken away all the fun of asking you ), have you thought about which doctorate you'll do after that?
Congratulations on the completion of your undergraduate degree. Best of luck with your graduate studies.
Gratz Jay! My letter just arrived in today's mail. I will get my B.S. in Liberal Studies with majors in Biology and Psychology on July 20. It's hard to believe it's over!
congrats! I hope to join the ranks of excelsior alumni very shortly, it is good to see that you are continuing your education on to a masters program, i hope to follow in your footsteps in that way as well.
Thanks, Ted! I have thought about a doctoral program but honestly the dissertation scares the hell out of me! However, I do work in the public sector, interact with the judicial system and write public policy so, I have given thought to a law degree. I figure the MS in legal studies program at Cal U would help me make that decision as I move through the program. At this time, I am thrilled to have completed my BS and have been accepted at Cal U.
